Shannon Brien joined the Arizona Bar in 2019 and is an experienced advocate. Shannon attended Arizona State University College of Law, during which time she served on the board of the Law Journal for Social Justice and gained courtroom experience through the Public Defense Clinic.

Prior to joining Bishop, Del Vecchio & Beeks, Shannon represented indigent clients at the Maricopa County Office of the Public Defender. In her role as a deputy public defender, Shannon made hundreds of court appearances. She advocated for her clients both in and out of the courtroom by successfully negotiating plea agreements with opposing counsel and representing her clients in preliminary hearings. Shannon understands the value in having a courteous relationship with all parties to a proceeding while always standing up for her clients’ best interest. She believes in being proactive and direct when addressing issues that may arise from the courts or opposing counsel.

Shannon is active in the local community and presently serves on the executive board of the Maricopa County Bar Association’s Family Law Section. She is also the current Vice President of the Homeless Legal Assistance Project, which provides pro bono legal services to individuals experiencing homelessness in the Phoenix area. Shannon is an Arizona transplant originally from New Hampshire. When she is not working, Shannon likes to go on camping trips throughout the Southwest.
