Education & Experience

Allyson Del Vecchio has been a family law attorney in both Arizona and Connecticut. She has handled numerous cases in all areas of family law, including, but not limited to, divorce, paternity, relocation, child custody / legal decision-making, parenting time, in loco parentis, grandparents’ rights, child support, and spousal support issues.

Ms. Del Vecchio has experience handling high net worth clientele and the complicated issues that require the use of business valuations, custody evaluations and other professionals to resolve these highly complex cases. Additionally, she has handled both Appeals and a Petition for Review to the Supreme Court. Ms. Del Vecchio also has substantial experience in the area of juvenile law, including dependency and parental termination proceedings.

Ms. Del Vecchio was a prior name partner in her own law firm, and was the Lead Family Law Attorney responsible for training and managing four other family law attorneys in her subsequent firm. Ms. Del Vecchio has made television appearances regarding family law issues, and has been quoted in various newspapers, including the Arizona Republic and Arizona Business Journal.

Memberships & Certifications

While Ms. Del Vecchio is an experienced litigator, she also understands that many family law matters can be resolved through informal settlement and/or mediation and attempts to resolve many of her clients’ issues through these channels. Ms. Del Vecchio is a member of the State Bar of Arizona’s Family Law Section, the Maricopa County Family Law Section, and the Arizona Chapter of the Association Of Family And Conciliation Courts (AFCC).

She became a member of the Connecticut State Bar in 2006 where she began her career handling all of her previous firms Juvenile Court Matters, as well as Civil Litigation, Probate, Family Law, Criminal Law and Landlord Tenant Disputes. Ms. Del Vecchio relocated to Arizona and became a member of the State Bar of Arizona in 2009.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Del Vecchio was employed in the Legal Department of Electro Scientific Industries, Inc. in Portland, Oregon, and assisted General Counsel with the company’s proprietary legal documents, inclusive of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Trademarks, Patents and Copyrights. Upon graduating from college, Ms. Del Vecchio entered Quinnipiac University School of Law in Mt. Carmel, Connecticut where her primary areas of focus were Family Law, Intellectual Property, and Criminal Law.
